Pemigewasset Wilderness and Owl's Head Backpack

Friday, August 23, 2019 12:00 AM to Sunday, August 25, 2019 12:00 AM

Join us for a 3-day, 2 night, into-the-wilderness backpacking experience, with one of the most remote 4,000 footers as a cherry on top! We will travel deep into the Pemigewasset Wilderness to Thirteen Falls Tent Site, where we will set up camp for 2 nights and hike to Owl's Head with just day packs on day 2. The days will be 8 miles (1200 ft elevation gain), 9 miles (3000 ft elevation gain), and 8 miles (no elevation gain), respectively. On our hike in and out, there will be numerous stream crossings that may require getting wet - potentially to the knees or thighs.
