We will camp at Nickerson State Park, a short walk from the beach at Flax Pond, where there is swimming, non-motorized boating, frog catching, biking and general fun. CHOOSE THE DAYS YOU WOULD LIKE TO COME! Great for kids/teens of all ages. Convenient to the Outer Cape and local attractions, bike trails, and bayside beaches. Informal group activities may include group biking trips, swimming and excursions. Group size is 25-30. Group site for tenting. Breakfast and dinner included. Costs: Adults/Teens $22/night, kids: (ages 3-12) $15/night, 2 and under free.

1st Annual Family Connecticut River Paddle Overnight, Montague, MA

Join Family Outings for our first annual Connecticut River Paddle Overnight. We put in at Montaque, MA and paddle 17 miles down the River, staying overnight at either AMC Hatchery Brook Campsite or AMC Whately Twin Oaks Campsite and taking out at Cow Bridge Brook Ramp (Hatfield Town Ramp). We supply the boats and food. We cook as a group with everyone pitching in.

Annual Family Bicycle Camping Weekend, Harold Parker State Forest, Andover, MA

We are excited to offer this great family trip for the 4th time, returning to the same location as last year. On Saturday, we will have a 15-20 mile ride punctuated by stops for lunch and ice cream. Group-prepared meals at the campground will include Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast & dinner, and Sunday breakfast at the campground. The beautiful wooded park offers swimming, canoeing, fishing, and trails for hiking & mountain biking. This trip is limited to 7 families, so please sign up early.

Join AMC families at this tent-only family friendly campground set on the shore of a 200 acre lake less than two hrs northwest of Boston. Enjoy roaring waterfalls a short walk away, Explore miles of hiking including the Tully Trail; great biking and paddling up the picturesque Tully River, or explore the lake's islands and inlets via boat, or swimming. Relax by the water or get out on it: bring your own kayak or canoe; or rent canoes, kayaks, fishing poles, GPS, or disc golf equipment. Maybe, just spend some time relaxing beneath the towering pine trees. Enjoy bird watching.

This interactive course consists of 5 instructional sessions to introduce the basics of spring, summer and fall day hiking and backpacking in New England.

Mt. Isolation Car Camping Weekend
