ACROSS Lexington Trail Project

Saturday, October 13, 2018 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

The ACROSS Lexington trail system presently has eight routes that connect conservation lands, schools, and historic sites to the town center. Our trail project will be on the newly completed Route H. The work planned is to brush out the treadway along the route which is being overgrown by bushes and shrubs due to the heavier than normal rainfall we have received this year.

Family President's Day Weekend at AMC Noble View Outdoor Center, Russell, MA

Friday, February 15, 2019 12:00 AM to Sunday, February 17, 2019 12:00 AM

Family President's Day Weekend at AMC's Noble View Outdoor Center in the Pioneer Valley, about 1-1/2 hours west of Boston. Activities include hiking, snow shoeing, x-c skiing, and family 'snow fun' like sledding or making snow people! The accommodations are rustic, but comfortable and cozy, heated by wood stoves. The twin beds have mattresses, but we bring pillows, sheets, and blankets or sleeping bags. We need to be flexible regarding sleeping arrangements which may be co-ed to keep families together and some kids will be in sleeping bags on the floor.
