Vice-Chair: Assume Chair's duties in Chair's absense. Available for special duties at request of Chair.
Trip Coordinator: 
Approve trips, post trips to website, sends out release form and trip report template to leaders of upcomings hikes and other activities, obtains these completed forms from the leaders, compiles data from the forms for Committee records, keeps roster of leaders, co-leaders, and prospectve leaders with contact information, in conjunction with Leadership.
New leaders are always welcome.  If you are interested in leading walks and hikes, contact Lisa Fleischman at
Leader Qualifications: 
* Complete AMC Boston Chapter Leadership training, either the day-long option or more extensive version.
* Be assigned a Local Walks & Hikes mentor, who has leadership status, co-lead two trips with the mentor, and receive a recommendations from the mentor, OR
obtain a recommendation from a Local Walks & Hikes Committee member, a leader with one of the other Boston Chapter Committees, or a known leader/Committee member from another Chapter. 
* Submit release and trip reports in a timely manner, not longer than one week after a trip.
* Adhere to leadership guidelines.
