Come join us for a hike of Mount Jackson via the Webster Cliff Trail, offering nice views of Crawford notch from ledges along the Cliffs and, if the weather cooperates, panoramic views of the southern Presidentials and Mount Washington from the exposed peaks of Mount Webster (3910 ft) and Mount Jackson (4052 ft). As an intermediate day hike with 3150 feet of elevation gain and covering 7.3 miles, this hike is aimed at experienced hikers. Expect steep, but manageable terrain at times with some moderate scrambling and some exposed ledges. We will be hiking along a portion of the AT, so we will see (and make way for) some through-hikers. You should have completed at least one hike of 5+mi and 2000+ft climb recently. Duration of the hike will vary depending on the trail conditions and the ability of our group.
