Join us for a hike up through spectacular King Ravine, with a brief diversion to scramble through the boulders of The Subway, then over to Mts. Adams and Madison via the Gulfside Trail, and down from Mt. Madison via the Watson Path. At 10 miles and around 5,000 feet of cumulative elevation gain, this is a strenuous hike combining the steep scrambling and exposed ledges of a ravine hike with open boulder fields and expansive views above treeline. It should be a spectacular day, but participants must be ready for the distance, elevation and rough terrain typical of the Presidential Range. For your best hiking experience, it is advised that you have recently tested yourself on a 4,000 footer before you register for this hike, and be comfortable on steep exposed headwall terrain.Directions:
