Intermediate Sea Kayaking: Boston Harbor Instructional

Intended for intermediate sea kayakers who want to take their skills to the next level. This training session will cover paddling in wind and chop, use of skegs and rudders, rescues, navigation, tides, group cohesion, and crossing boating channels. It will take place in Boston Harbor and will include paddling around the Inner Harbor Islands. Intermediate sea kayaking skills are required, including the ability to re-enter your kayak with an assisted rescue. Expect a full day of instruction, training, and paddling. A 15 foot (minimum) kayak with fore and aft bulkheads, spray skirt, and PFD, are required.
