AMC YM: Volunteer for garden chores at Drumlin Farm

Trip dates: Sunday, October 28, 2018 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Join Boston's AMC young members to volunteer at Mass Audubon's Drumlin Farm and Wildlife Sanctuary! We will help work on the gardens around the Nature Center and gift shop. We will cut down the gardens for winter maintenance and remove some invasive plants that self-sowed there. Afterwards, we can also explore the farm and wildlife sanctuary.

Gear: Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty. Bring garden gloves if you have them. We will supply loaner gloves. Leave your purse locked in your car trunk. It will only get dirty in the fields. Bring a water bottle - a must have! When you arrive, check-in at the admissions window.

Transportation: Public transportation is limited to the commuter rail (Lincoln station) so please get in touch with each other for carpooling using the sign-up list below.
