Join the Wednesday Wramblers for the last bike ride of the season. We will repeat a ride we did in August minus the stifling heat and humidity. Our 22 mile ride will take us through Medfield, Dover, Natick, Needham and Wellesley. We will get glimpses of the Charles River and its wetlands, tackle a few hills, take a break at the South Natick Dam and bike through a portion of the Wellesley College campus. After the ride we will go to the Brothers Marketplace in Medfield Center for lunch, coffee or ice cream (or all three). Please be sure your bike is in good working condition and that you have water, a snack and appropriate clothing. The start location and other details will be emailed a few days before the ride.
I began leading bike trips for the AMC in 1990 and led for ten years before taking a break. When I became active with the Forty Plus Committee I decided to start leading again. I took a refresher leadership course and Wilderness First Aid and now I am certified as a cross-country ski and bike leader. I have met many wonderful leaders and trip participants and Forty Plus has become one of my most enjoyable retirement activities.
