Call me crazy, but I like to hike uphill and ski down. Pat's Peak is fine with that, so a group of crazies will meetup for several trips up & down the mountain (750 vertical). Its a great workout and should be part of your training regiment as you prepare for winter. Exercise, outdoors, skiing. Nothing crazy about that.
Jeff leads ski trips all over New England as well as Utah. He particularly enjoys backcountry skiing in fresh, soft snow. He is also tolerant and patient given most New England winters (but remember 2015??)
